Quirky vintage touches

This diminutive waterview cottage is owned by drummer Simon Kirke, best known for Free and Bad Company. It's suitably unconventional with quirky vintage touches (metal tiles on ceiling and the bathroom, free-standing kitchen including an old butcher's block used as an island) and there's a beamed cottage in the rear used as a music studio. There are only two bedrooms, but they're both decent-sized; in all, the house is 1000sf set on 0.28 of an acre. There are nice views of Accabonac Harbor and Gardiner's Bay from the house, the wraparound decking, and the pool. The asking price of $1.385M strikes us as reasonable; waterfront properties on Gerard Drive, most of which are fairly small like this one, run about a million dollars more.
