The 2016 SUMMER RENTAL ROUNDUP: BH, SP Edition

Hamptons rentals run the gamut from modest to superlative, from reasonably priced to Holy Crap! We'll bring you three rentals per destination in various prices as we head east. Today's Summer Rental Roundup features the leafy enclaves of Bridgehampton and Sagaponack.

Modest
585 Daniels Lane, Sagaponack; Elliman
Price: $100,000 (MD-LD)
The Lowdown: Location, location, location. The house itself is a small, funky contemporary. There are four bedrooms and three baths in 1500sf. However, the one-acre property is a block from the beach in Sagaponack, and of course there's a pool out back for lazy afternoons.

Nice
32 East Woods Path, Sagaponack; Compass
Price: $275,000 (MD-LD)
The Lowdown: Pack all your friends and relatives in this spacious 5000sf, six bedroom, 6.5 bath house. It's all rather elegantly and impressively decorated, too. Out back, there's a gunite pool and spa and a covered dining area, and for rainy days, there's a finished lower level.

Holy Crap!
271 Dune Road, Bridgehampton; Sotheby's
Price: $1,200,000 (July-LD)
The Lowdown: Oceanfront? Check. Bayviews as well? Yep. Oceanside gunite pool and spa? Present! There's also nearly three acres of grassy lawn, including a playset for the kids. Six bedrooms all have ocean or bayviews, while two staff bedrooms are on the first floor. The master suite includes a breakfast room, bath with its own deck, and double dressing room. Of course there's also a billiards room, media room, and game/sunroom, as well as numerous fireplaces and flatscreen TVs.
