Curbed Cup Final Four: the west strikes back

Stunning upsets

So far this year, we’ve seen stunning strength in communities west of the canal. In last year’s Curbed Cup, there were some allegations of ballot-stuffing when Hampton Bays won. This year, however, we are using much more sophisticated software and via IP analysis, we can assure you that no cheating has occurred. This week, Westhampton/ Westhampton Beach beat Amagansett fair and square and Hampton Bays trounced East Hampton.

Next week, though, they’ll be up against some stiff competition, including sentimental favorite Sag Harbor (reeling from a devastating downtown fire) which managed to blow away Water Mill, and powerhouse Bridgehampton, which bested East Hampton Northwest. Don’t miss the torrid neighborhood action next week and make sure to vote for your favorites.

Curbed Cup fever: catch it!
