Let’s check in with Countess Luann’s old Bridgehampton property and new Sag Harbor home

Price dropping

Real Housewives of New York City alum Luann de Lesseps is getting married soon. Congrats! We noticed that her former property on Highland Terrace in Bridgehampton, which was purchased by Farrell Building Co, has recently had its asking price lowered. Farrell tore down Luann’s rather lovely house and built a giant new spec house on its 2.2 acres.

It’s a fairly bog-standard house, but attractive enough with white walls, dark wood floors, plenty of fireplaces, a nice white marble kitchen, and so on.

There’s the requisite pool and pool house out back, along with tennis.

The original ask was $18.5M; now $1.5M has been shaved off, down to $16.995M.

So where did Luann go after leaving Bridgehampton? Sag Harbor, of course. She purchased an 1835 waterfront Greek Revival with a dock for $2.4375M. We wrote back in 2013, "If you want to live in historic Sag Harbor, this c. 1830 house is a great option. It is waterfront, with a dock, so of course there are beautiful sunset water views. We love the wide-plank flooring and three working fireplaces, with three bedrooms and three baths in 2500sf. [..] Looks like the bathrooms need redoing as well.

"Out back, there's an artist's studio with its own deck, and room for a pool on .31 acre." Excellent buy, Luann, and when you’ve got the place all spruced up, call us and we’ll send over a photographer.
