Here’s the house the new coach of the Brooklyn Nets just purchased

In Quogue

Native Long Islander Kenny Atkinson is returning to his roots. Well, sort of. Born in Northport, he and wife Laura have just purchased this charming 1920s beach house in Quogue. That will make for an easy commute from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, where he is the new coach of the Nets.

We’re not entirely sure how much he paid—sources range between $2M and $1.675M. Listing pictures are skimpy, but the copy says the house has been recently renovated, which looks the case in the kitchen. There are four bedrooms, 3.5 baths in 2500 square feet, and with a nice long rolling lawn in back, plenty of room to add a pool if the Atkinsons so desire. Welcome home, Kenny!
