Lindenmere

PriceSpotter is Curbed's price guessing game. We provide some details and pictures from a local listing, and you take a crack at the price. Thursday, we reveal the answer. No cheating!

What/Where: 14 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms / Um, Center Moriches

Square footage: 12,000

Acreage: 8.12

The Skinny: OK, yes, Center Moriches is somewhat out of our wheelhouse, but we thought this place was interesting. Designed and built by Stanford White in 1916, the property has served as a private residence, a hotel, and a B&B. In the 1980s, the estate, known as Lindenmere because of the beautiful old trees, was purchased by Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos, who added the pool and pool house. (Along with 24-karat gold plated bathroom fixtures. Tasteful.) There’s 425 feet of bulkheaded waterfront with a private, white sandy beach and boardwalk, with views across the bay to Fire Island and the Atlantic Ocean beyond.

So...how much do you think they're asking for it?
