Tour a charming 1890s East Hampton Village farmhouse

On a sought-after village street, this vintage house is rambling and characterful. There are double parlors in front, which includes a TV sitting area, then there’s a dining room and large kitchen, and finally a spacious master bedroom in the rear with fireplace. Upstairs, there are four more bedrooms and two more baths; in all, there’s 2085 square feet of space. We personally think the space would work better with the master being a family room, though.

There’s 0.40 of an acre of land, which includes mature plantings and a nice brick patio and pool out back. Asking price is $2.295M, which we think is a little high. Yes, the house has been refreshed recently, but the place last sold for $1.683M in January 2014. What do you think?
