Via del Mare is the new Northern Italian restaurant in the former Mirko's space in Water Mill. The soft opening was a couple of weeks ago; all the buzz since then has been positive. The new owner is Paolo della Puppa, the man behind the city's Via Quadronno and Bottega del Vino. Offerings include filet of Branzino with garlic and lemon, with an orange-fennel salad and a grilled veal chop with haricots verts sautéed in garlic. Take a look at the summer menu after the jump.
