This property hit the market one year ago asking $2.495M. Everyone liked it: comments included "Love this. A few cabinet, counter, lighting and floor updates in kitchen and baths and it could be spectacular" and "Other than a bit of tweaking here and there (those lights above the mirrors in the bathroom have got to go) it's excellent as is!" We thought the asking price was reasonable, too. But no one bought it. The price was chopped $200K, and just recently another $300K was sliced off; now the asking price is only $1.995M.
So what do you get for that? A house, which according to records was built in 1996 (although the kitchen looks more 80s), that still seems fresh as a daisy to us. We guess good design is timeless—and we like the modern furnishings, especially the Memphis chair in the bedroom. The only thing we don't like is the spiral staircase, because we hate spiral staircases in general. There's 3700sf of space, with five bedrooms, each with a private balcony, and four baths. The pool house has a sauna and full bath too, and there's a tennis court and garage. The 2.43 acres of land is wooded and private, overlooking the Noyac golf course. Surely someone will snap up this beauty soon.
