No question, this is a nice property. It's a set of 11 parcels totaling 23 acres, just minutes from East Hampton Village. There's a gigantic (18,000sf, 12 bedrooms, 12 full and 4 partial baths) English-style main house, 6 bedroom former carriage house, and stables with paddocks. The lower level of the main house "offers sunken spa, sauna, steam room, massage room, fully equipped gym, and theatre." There are two pools, one for the main house with pool house and one for the guest house. There's even two more guest cottages. What's with the dearth of interior photos, though? We want to see inside!
The $55M question is, is anyone going to buy this place and keep it as is, or is a developer going to buy it and build more houses? We would guess the latter.
