Last week, we toured the Harbor's Edge development, which is virtually completed and ready to start sales, in the hot town of Sag Harbor. We were blown away and wanted to move right in. We arrived into the beautiful lobby and were greeted cheerfully by Yvonne, the concierge. Yvonne seemed like no request would faze her. Maintenance-free living, sign us up now! Then we met Keith Green, the Halstead sales rep who showed us around. One thing we really liked about the complex is that privacy is key—there are only 15 units in total, but multiple elevators; some residences (penthouses) have dedicated elevators while others are shared between two apartments. Nice. Prices range between $6.25M for a 2200sf penthouse down to $2.25M for a ground-floor 1900sf apartment.
Each apartment has a beautiful harbor view and its own outside space: either a terrace with its own small yard on the ground floor, or expansive balcony terraces on upper floors. Of course the interiors are lovely, with high-end kitchens and baths (love the mother of pearl tile in the bathrooms), custom gray-stained wood floors (to look like driftwood) and modern gas fireplaces. There are two to three bedrooms in each apartment, all flooded with light. Each apartment also features an extensive storage room with washer/dryer and central vac. Plenty of space to store all your stuff here.
Another feature we adored was the rooftop pool—it looked so inviting. (It was designed and constructed by by Greg Darvin of Pristine Pools.) Plus the rooftop space includes a bar and kitchenette for throwing a private party. The penthouse we toured was just decorated by designer Bradley Stephens (see above) and it's right down the hall from the rooftop pool. We say make a deal to buy it fully furnished and move in with your toothbrush.
