Don't anyone panic, but Mary Lee, a 16-foot 3500-pound great white shark, pinged this morning off the coast of Jones Beach and is headed to the Hamptons. Mary Lee was tagged in 2012 off the coast of Cape Cod by OCEARCH, the nonprofit group that is monitoring the shark's movements. She has been swimming up the East Coast from Florida over the last few months, having logged in almost 20,000 miles of travel since being tagged. Welcome to the Hamptons, Mary Lee! May we suggest the lobster roll at Duryea's?
