Former investment banker Jen Russo is launching Juja Active, a new activewear retailer. Juja's first brick-and-mortar store opens Memorial Day weekend on Jobs Lane in Southampton, with plans for an e-commerce site to launch this summer and additional locations to follow. "The vision behind Juja Active was to create a distinct shopping experience, bringing together independent activewear brands in a place that embodies a supportive, nurturing culture that is not competitive or isolating, but rather celebratory and empowering," says Jen. Highlights from the store's offerings include the first collections of Crane & Lion and Track & Bliss; Red Tiger, an Australian brand new to the U.S.; Electric & Rose, a husband and wife design team based out of Venice, CA; and many others.
