This spring marks the debut of five new venues at Gurney's Resort: two restaurants, a coffee shop, craft cocktail bar, and a revamped beach club. LDV Hospitality, known for Meatpacking District favorite Scarpetta, is partnering with Gurney's. Now the Italian food it's known for will be available in Montauk. Scarpetta Beach opens at Gurney's May 1, serving those Italian dishes as well as local seafood and produce. And unlike the Meatpacking District, Scarpetta Beach will boast a great view of the Atlantic Ocean.
In the mood to party? The Regent Cocktail Club will be directed by bartender Julio Cabrera. Its sister property in Miami Beach was voted the best hotel bar in the world by Tales of the Cocktail. There'll be a daily menu of classic cocktails and a DJ on weekends. The Regent Cocktail Club will be open year-round daily from 7:00PM to midnight.
For more casual dining, Tillie's will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, as well as Sunday brunch. Just want to grab some coffee or juice and a sandwich? Located in the lobby, Corso Coffee is an Italian-style coffee bar that will offer choices ranging from wood-roasted Tuscan espresso to American beans roasted in Long Island City. Also available will be pastries, sandwiches, salads, as well as gelato and fresh juices.
Finally, opening in May, the Beach Club at Gurney's will span the resort's 1000-foot private beach. If one of the yellow and white striped beach chairs doesn't do it for you, rent one of the 12 double king-sized daybeds. The Beach Club's Bar & Grill will offer appetizers, sandwiches and salads, along with Saturday BBQ.
