What's the only thing better than your own tennis court? Your own golf hole, of course! Part of the 1.2 acres of this property is devoted to perfecting your swing. Of course there's a gunite pool and pool house and the coveted deeded ocean access. Speaking of the Atlantic Ocean, the listing notes that "A recent widow's walk was installed for the best private views of the ocean from the house."
The house is enormous at 12,000sf, with nine bedrooms and 10.5 baths, but it's not too McMansiony, although if we were the buyer, those curved windows would be history. The kitchen is lovely but the living/dining/sitting rooms are surprisingly small. And the listing is skimpy on photos: where are the bathrooms, for example?
As for the asking price, it's difficult to judge. It's probably reasonable: we'd opt for this place over the house Farrell is building after tearing down Countess LuAnn's, which is two acres for $20M but no water view or ocean path.
