It only takes one, right? Well, that's the typical broker babble told to most sellers who can't move a house. And to be fair, this fodder is absolutely correct. However, this mentality becomes a lot tougher to digest when the property is particularly unique. Modern architecture is a huge trend, but not at the cost of function. And that appears to be the case among the sea grass at 9 Ocean Lane in Amagansett.
We brought you this house last May when it was listed for $1.795M, and this distinctive beach cottage was recently visited by the Pricechopper. Currently listed at $1.55M, we're wondering if the $245K cut is enough to entice a buyer before the summer begins. Distinctive curb appeal, tons of windows, and clean lines are impressive features. However, the functionality of this house is the real problem. With only 1.5 bathrooms and 600sf., it appears that the residents of the Hamptons don't have any love for Tiny House Nation.
