The Town of Southampton is celebrating its 375th anniversary this year. Everyone knows what the official seal looks like--glum looking Pilgrim, sailing ship, Left Shark—hang on, OK, we added Left Shark—the mystery is when this seal was adopted. Sometime after 1910 but before 1929 is all the town knows at this point. Nor does anyone have a clue what artist designed it. If anyone out there has any information, get in touch. [27East]
