One thing is for certain about this place: it's gorgeous. Clean modern lines are everywhere in the 7000sf house, designed by Stelle Lomont Rouhani Architects (Frederick Stelle, Michael Lomont, Viola Rouhani). There are huge windows to bring the outdoors in, an industrial style staircase, and an open limestone fireplace between the dining room and living room, along with five bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Outside, there's a private walkway to the beach, an oceanview roofdeck, and a 20 x 40 saltwater pool. The only issue is the price, $14.8M. For that much, you could get oceanfront in the area, but of course not an architect-designed new build like this. This house is sui generis. Is there a buyer out there who's willing to make the house versus location tradeoff?
