Valentine's Day is on a Saturday this year, so make sure to get reservations early for dinner with your better half. The romantic Topping Rose House restaurant is offering a special five-course tasting menu, including items such as aged beef tartare, baked Montauk oysters, and more; also with an additional Piper-Heidsieck Champagne pairing. During February, daily and weekly special Piper-Heidsieck Champagne cocktails will be available for guests to enjoy at the bar, next to a cozy fireplace, or in their own rooms.
Harbor Grill is offering with a la carte specials from Friday, February 13 through Sunday, February 15. Guests who order an entrée special will receive a complimentary glass of champagne, house wine or a bottled beer. Specials include lump crab and spinach crusted oysters, macadamia nut crusted sea scallops, and surf and turf.
Nick & Toni's will offer a la carte specials in addition to the regular menu on Saturday, February 14 beginning at 6PM. Specials include roasted artichoke ravioli with truffle butter and micro beets, grilled swordfish with blood orange reduction, caramelized fennel and black olive tapenade, and a
malted chocolate pot de crème.
Not to be outdone, Rowdy Hall is serving a la carte specials in addition to the regular menu on Valentine's Day, including duck confit salad with pomegranates and toasted almonds, rack of lamb with crispy potato cake and baby carrots, and dark chocolate panna cotta with caramelized hazelnuts and white chocolate curls.
Almond will serve a special four-course blood orange themed menu (mmmmmm) on Valentine's Day for $75 per person. The a la carte menu will also be available. Choices from the special menu includes iced Montauk pearls with blood orange margarita granite; duck and foie gras ravioli a l'orange with pistachios and sage; Loch Duarte salmon, smoked then roasted, spiced root vegetables, blood orange "miso-yaki;" and a Mexican chocolate torte with ancho chile and blood orange gel.
The Living Room Restaurant will offer a special four-course dinner for two in celebration of Valentine's Day in addition to the regular menu. Cost is $130 per couple. The menu includes grilled Peconic Bay oysters, veal carpaccio with artichoke aioli, truffle and capers; grilled half-lobster on the shell; and chocolate ganache with chili-flavored orange curd.
