Why Not an Architectural Landmark for Your Summer Rental?

The Pearlroth House, also known as the Double Diamond House, designed by starchitect Andrew Geller in 1958, was moved back on the dune in Westhampton Beach and restored last year. Owner Jonathan Pearlroth, the son of the original owners, wanted a larger house for his family, so the Double Diamond house is now about 40 feet away from its original site. We guess it's now a pool house for the new place, a 3500sf modern house designed by New York-based Cook + Fox Architects and built by Reinhardt / O'Brien Contracting, best known for the Houses at Sagaponac. Of course the views are amazing, and we like how the new house nicely complements the Double Diamonds. Rent the five bedroom, 4.5 bath complex for $225K, Memorial Day to Labor Day.
