The 2015 SUMMER RENTAL ROUNDUP: Amagansett Edition

New, 2 comments

Hamptons rentals run the gamut from modest to superlative, from reasonably priced to Holy Crap! Curbed bring you three rentals per destination in various prices as we head east. Today we look at homes in the pretty town of Amagansett.

Modest
362 Bluff Road , Amagansett; Brown Harris Stevens
Price: $50,000 (MD-LD)
The Lowdown: If you don't have an unlimited bank account, this place is a great choice. It's on a prestigious road and offers a pool inside a lovely garden, although the interiors aren't the ne plus ultra of chic. There are three bedrooms and two baths.

Nice
155 Marine Boulevard, Amagansett; BHS
Price: $200,000 (MD-LD)
The Lowdown: The house isn't huge at 2500sf with three bedrooms. There's no pool. But who needs a pool or wants to be inside when the ocean is your front yard? This oceanfront house in the Dunes offers extensive mahogany decking to take in the view.

Holy Crap!
14 St Mary's Lane, Amagansett; Corcoran
Price: $395,000 (MD-LD)
The Lowdown: Want to live like Marie Antoinette for the summer! Of course you do! With a fake windmill! This house was inspired "La Maison de la Reine, a rustic retreat built for Marie Antoinette within the Chateau de Versailles." Most importantly, it's right by the ocean, with views aplenty and its own private path to the beach. Of course there are dual saltwater pools and plenty of outdoor space in its almost two acres. Inside, there's 8000sf with seven bedrooms and 8.5 baths.
