Here in the Hamptons, bigger is most definitely better, so we define "micro" a little more loosely than in some other cities. Take this cute waterfront cottage, for example. It was built turn of the last century, and while small at 1200sf, the double-height great room with exposed beams makes it feel spacious. The master suite has its own fireplace and bath, and the second bedroom also has its own bath. The best part, though, is possibly outside on the half-acre plot: nearly 150' of frontage on Wooley Pond with your own dock. From there, access the the bay and ocean, and of course, the sunset views are amazing.
