Last Chance: Which Will Be Awarded Best Hamptons Neighborhood 2015?

New, 12 comments

The sixth annual Curbed Cup is drawing ever closer. The competition gives readers the opportunity to nominate and vote on their favorite East End town/village/hamlet/whatever. The voting will kick off soon, but before we open the polls we need your help with the selection process.

The Curbed Cup tourney consists of an NCAA bracket-style face-off between a number of towns/villages/hamlets/whatever. We think we might go nuts and do sixteen towns this year, just to keep things fresh. Will Montauk take it again for the third year? Will the hot village of Sag Harbor translate to tournament domination? Might Water Mill steam its way to victory? Could a dark horse—Noyac?—upset the whole thing? Let us know in the comments (or email to hamptons@curbed.com).

And we don't just want neighborhood names; we want to know why this particular neighborhood matters right now. Is it home to a game-changing new development? Has its restaurant scene blown up? Is it home to one of the area's best shopping districts? Whatever it is, we want to know what happened in 2015 that sets your favorite neighborhood apart.

Previous Curbed Cup winners:
2010: Sag Harbor
2011: Sag Harbor
2012: Amagansett
2013: Montauk
2014: Montauk
