A young couple who recently had a baby purchased a charming 1910 weekend house in Water Mill. They then hired James Huniford, founder and principal of Huniford Design Studio, to give the old house a fresh contemporary look. Knocking down walls and redecorating in soft whites with natural accents makes the house feel larger than its petite footprint and hints at its seaside location. Vintage furniture, such as the dining chairs and the 1940s rocker in their child's room, has been reupholstered in luxurious yet restrained fabrics. To see the whole thing, head on over to the Lonny site.
