The site of the Crystal Room and Cricket Catering on Pantigo Road in East Hampton has been cleared. (If you recall, there was some discussion a few years ago about zoning—whether the zoning for restaurant used had lapsed. It had, but the property was still zoned for multifamily use.) In its place will be six townhouses for those 55 and over called Crystal Mews. (We prefer "Clam Pie Mews," but fortunately no one listens to us.) Each 1600sf house will have three bedrooms, three baths, with a ground-floor master, and start at $1.595M. They should be ready for occupancy by the spring.
