Glamourous Southampton Village New Build on Small Plot

New, 10 comments

This house proves that new-builds don't have to be cookie cutter, yet it delivers all the bells and whistles. The kitchen is fresh and attractive (love the banquette), with glass and white marble. The floors are bleached oak, which looks fresh. There are five bedrooms, four baths, three half baths, three fireplaces in 6200sf, which includes the 1600sf lower level with media room and wine cellar. On only half an acre of land in the village downtown, there's a gunite pool, pool house, and detached garage. Well done. Asking price is $5.095M, which is not bad: the property sold as a teardown just about a year ago for $1.46M, while the smaller, older house across the street sold for $3.96M in November.
