Last time we checked in with the Highland Terrace, Bridgehampton, home of Real Housewife Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, back in July, the price had just been chopped down to $8.495M. That makes a total one and a half million dollars off the original asking price. We wondered why no one had bought the rather nice property. A clue came in today's New York Post, where a source said that "The place is a mess, and the brokers can't show it … when brokers come to show LuAnn's house, the housekeeper and the nanny are sitting around eating and watching TV." Hm. Of course we don't know what deal the tenants made with LuAnn, but if we paid big bucks for a rental, we'd sit around and eat and watch TV too. The property seems to be currently off the market; maybe the countess is getting the place cleaned up for fall showings.
