July Means Art Fairs in the Hamptons

It's art fair season now in the Hamptons, starting this weekend with ArtHamptons, now in its seventh year, and Art Market Hamptons, in its fourth year. Art Southampton, in its third year, is in two weeks. A one-day pass at each of the fairs will only run you $25, so even if you're not buying this year, it's always worthwhile to browse and get up to speed with contemporary trends in art.

ArtHamptons (Nova's Ark, 60 Millstone Road, Bridgehampton)
Thursday, July 10– Sunday, July 13
The Thursday evening preview benefits Guild Hall. This year's theme is "Escape." Jane Freilicher will be honored as as Artist of the Year and Robert Wilson of the Watermill Center as Arts Patron of Year. The Korean Showcase will feature some of Asia's leading galleries and artists.
