A Hamptons Happening Turns 10!

New, 6 comments

At A Hamptons Happening, which took place last night at a private estate at 900 Lumber Lane in Bridgehampton, we watched the beautiful people of the East End party for charity. Nothing too surprising, as this Saturday night had possibly more events going on than any other weekend. The Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation honored splashy New York designer Betsey Johnson. Rocking the party with a uniquely Betsey exuberance, she was joined by fellow honorees chef David Burke and philanthropist Paul Ridley. A side note, Ridley is one Hell of an athlete who rowed solo across the Atlantic Ocean for 87+ days. Among the crowd, we spotted socialites and several New York Housewives. The evening marked the organization's 10th annual benefit. Happy birthday, we can't for next year!
