The new restaurant in the former Trata space, Red Stixs, features classic Beijing-style Chinese food. The eatery is run by the former founders and chefs from Phillipe Chow in New York. The menu includes traditional Chinese/Asian dishes such as noodles, dumplings, lettuce wraps, and satays, along with a signature Peking duck. Also featured is a lot of fresh seafood—hey, this is the Hamptons. Appetizers include salt and pepper Maryland soft shell crab and Peking duck spring rolls; main courses include Beijing chicken with walnuts in sweet brown sauce and Maine lobster with ginger, scallion, and cracked black pepper.
