Those of us who are nuts about antiques and vintage make a beeline every summer to the antiques show put on by the East Hampton Historical Society. On offer are vintage rattan and bamboo furniture, lighting, textiles, architectural elements, American formal and country painted furniture, Art Deco and Moderne furniture, garden ornaments, wrought iron accessories, industrial items, paintings, trade signs, vintage jewelry, weathervanes, and mirrors.
This year's show, which is Saturday and Sunday, July 19 and 20, at historic Mulford Farm, features more than 55 dealers. The preview cocktail party is Friday, July 18. Designer Celerie Kemble is the honorary chair; she says, "I have long loved shopping the antique show in East Hampton, and am so honored to be part of an event that protects the town's historic structures and works to preserve its rich history."
Tickets for the show are $10 ($20 early admission), with tickets for the cocktail party starting at $150 ($100 for the under-40s).
