Rent Jonathan Adler's Stylish and Fun Shelter Island Hideaway

New, 15 comments

This 1970s house belongs to designer Jonathan Adler and writer/creative director Simon Doonan, and it's as colorful, fun, and retro as you'd expect. Ceramicist Adler has some of his own work on display, but there are plenty of vintage pieces as well, including the 1970s Rya rug, fun hanging basket chairs, and the chrome rocker. Price is $11,000 for July. There are three bedrooms and two baths in a compact 1300sf. The grounds, about a half acre, are beautifully planted, and features a 75' pool. There's also a deck with a ping-pong table and an outdoor shower—everything you need for a fun summer getaway.
