Black and White is All Right and Cheaper in Water Mill

New, 3 comments

Last time we featured this house, which belongs to media personality Alexis Glick, a commenter suggested $7M as a price for a teardown. Well, it's inching ever closer: asking price was $10M in 2010, then cut a million last autumn, and now another 500K has been sliced off. Still, we think the place could just use a thoughtful redesign rather than a bulldozer. (We still don't understand the stuffed duck.) This property boasts a main house designed by Joe Bahri and a guest house designed by Francis Fleetwood. For your eight and a half mil, you get a 3000sf, three-bed, two bath contemporary with a guest house and a nice pool, all on one acre fronting Mecox Bay, plus dock and views aplenty.
