Non-Ugly Napeague Contemporary Asks $1.89M

New, 18 comments

70s/80s contemporaries tend to be hideous, but this one is surprisingly non-offensive on the exterior and quite nice inside. It's in the dunes on the Napeague stretch, so it seems to blend in with the beachy landscape. (The listing says "Great location, midway to the infamous Montauk Village." We ought to keep a toteboard of brokers who need to look up "infamous.") Anyway, there are four bedrooms and 2.5 baths in 2500sf, on 0.17 acre of land. There's plenty of light with lots of windows and a hot tub on the deck all set for a decadent 70s party. Price seems a bit high to us; what do you think?
