Le Charlot, the Upper East Side French bistro, known for good food and reasonable prices, is going to open an outpost in Southampton, the former Barrister's space at 36 Main Street. It won't open for a while as a gut renovation is underway, but the new eatery will be open all year round, and will feature favorites from the New York location: steak au poivre (our favorite), moules-frites, and so on.
