Where do new residents in the Hamptons come from? According to Spokeo, a people search provider whose researchers examined the moving patterns of Americans based on their cell-phone number origins and new addresses, the answer is Florida. (Besides the ever-popular "Other," of course.) The Mobile Migration Maps shown here are visual representations of the most common out-of-state mobile users who've taken root in the East End. Some of the answers are kind of duh, such as New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida. We're surprised at the numbers of Hawaiians, though, and we want answers about the Missourians in East Hampton and the North Dakotans in Montauk.
