The latest hot new eatery to hit the Hamptons is designed to be upscale, yet approachable, and appeal to locals as well as the young hip types. The Harbor Raw Bar & Lounge, in the space formerly occupied by the Cross-Eyed Clam, will offer a locally sourced menu of seasonal small plates and larger "to share" options, as well as a bar program that takes guests from day to night on its al fresco patio, adjacent lounge or main dining room. There will be soups and salads for lunch; later, boaters from the nearby marina can come enjoy a beautiful cocktail and munch on snacks. As a sunset destination, guests will enjoy live music and later into the evening dancing with a DJ at the helm. But always, the emphasis will be on delicious food. There will be a raw bar, featuring rotating daily selections, and a locals-only "dockside dinner" special on Monday nights.
Opening is in mid-May and weekend entertainment starts Memorial Day. More details, including a sample menu, will be coming soon, so stay tuned!
