This Summer, Learn About Local Architectural History

Walking tours are a great way to appreciate the stunning local architecture of the Hamptons. Mark your calendars: Sunday, June 29 at 11:00AM, go on a walking tour with Southampton Museums curator Emma Ballou. She will discuss the history of Foster Crossing, an old farm path until a hundred years ago, and is now one of the few roads in Southampton where privet hedges do not hide the houses. The tour ends with a visit inside the Thomas Halsey Homestead, built in 1666. Cost is $10; free for members of the Southampton Historical Museum.
