Spring in the Hamptons means warm air, daffodils, and of course a crop of new restaurants. The latest is Bay Kitchen Bar, set to open Memorial Day weekend in the former Andrra space.
It's the latest venture from chef/owner Eric Miller (of Food & Co and Miller's BBQ fame) and co-owner Richard Silver. The restaurant will offer fab waterviews, indoor/outdoor seating, marina access for boaters, and of course great food. Eric Miller will rely on his relationships with local fishermen and baymen to source the best possible quality ingredients.
Sample menu items include a raw bar menu with local littleneck clams and dishes such as Dayboat sea scallops with sweet pea risotto and roasted pepper vinaigrette or spit-roasted Long Island duck. A series of public special events is in the works, including clambakes, barbeques and whole animal roasts in Miller's BBQ smoker. We can't wait to check it out this summer.
