A month ago, we brought you the news of a new development of 37 freestanding houses in Bridgehampton. The houses, developed by Continental Pinewood Development Partners, will be located off Scuttle Hole Road next to Channing Daughters. The development will offer concierge services, which have proven popular with the new condo developments, but are being offered here with freestanding homes.
Floorplans and renderings for three houses are now available. The first rendering shown is a barn style. It sports six bedrooms, 6.5 baths, in 5872sf, including the finished lower level, on 0.76 acre, with an asking price of $2.995M. All the houses, with slightly different floorplans, house and lot sizes, are asking $2.995M. Each offers a 20 x 40 gunite pool.
The second rendering style is called the Gambrel (sure), with six bedrooms, 7.5 baths, 6,257sf, on 0.96 acre, and the third is the Courtyard, which doesn't actually have a courtyard but does have seven bedrooms, 6.5 baths, 6,125sf, and 0.82 acres. Although we're as tired of gambrels as everyone else, the Gambrel model appeals to us the most—it looks a little less McMansiony than the others—but the architecture is underwhelming on the whole. The development will probably sell well, though: low priced, near open vineyard fields, concierge services, two car garages, not much for a buyer to do other than move right in.
