Back in August 2012, we wrote about the pretty dire state of this property—we predicted a date with a wrecking ball. It's one acre on the water on Shelter Island, but there were no takers at the $3.5M asking price. The owner obviously decided to freshen the place up with a renovation, thankfully ridding the world of that round black sunken tub, and we have to say, the place looks pretty damn nice now. All gussied up, the property is available for the summer for $110,000. There are four bedrooms and 3.5 baths in about 2400sf, but this place is all about the waterviews. Plus, we're happy to see a thoughtful renovation rather than a teardown.
