No Kidding: Goats to Remove Invasive Plants in Bridgehampton

What's the most fun way to get rid of unwanted greenery? Unleash a herd of goats, of course! This idea is becoming more and more popular across the country, and now The Friends of the Long Pond Greenbelt are going to employ some goats to remove invasive plants in Bridgehampton's Vineyard Field. Autumn olive keeps sprouting and reseeding and it's hard to get rid of. Mowing would threaten turtles and other wildlife, so goats it is. Southampton Town is going to pitch in 3500 bucks to rent the goats from their upstate farm. (Yes, these puns are baaaad.)
