Nice
380 Barons Ln,, Southampton; Sotheby's

The Lowdown: This house, Xanadu, was built in 1983 by Norman Jaffe, which confers bragging rights in the Hamptons. The house is 8000sf with 6 bedrooms, set on 3.7 acres, with 378 feet of ocean frontage. There's also a 3 bedroom guest house for your troublesome relatives. But of course there's also plenty of outside space with decking, a pool and tennis court.

Holy Crap!

The Lowdown: Yep, it's our old friend the Linden estate. Summer tenants, you get some serious bragging rights with your rental of a beautiful old-school Southampton estate: built in 1915, recently renovated, 18,000sf, ten acres, fountain, pool, tennis, Warhol of Frederick the Great; you name it, Linden's got it. Of course, you'll have to plunk down some serious cash in exchange for those bragging rights, but if you've got it, flaunt it.
