Architect-Designed Shingle Style for $2.295M in Montauk

New, 5 comments

This Surfside house was designed by East End architect Bruce Nagel "in the spirit of the classic Stanford White shingle-style summer cottages." It's not huge, with three bedrooms and three baths in 2300sf, but what we can see of the interiors is appealing. The kitchen looks dark in the photo, and the listing mentions the master bath with Carrera marble, a clawfoot tub and a "sit-down glass shower," but there's no photo of any of the bathrooms. The garden looks pretty and fairly low maintenance; plot size is 0.43 acre. There's a distant oceanview. Price seems a little high, but it's a very attractive house in a good location.
