Sold! A Pretty Shingled Four-Bedroom in North Sea

New, 3 comments

This good-value house hit the market back in August and it's in contract already. Asking $2.1M, the final price seems to be $1.95M. Most commenters liked the house. "This looks surprisingly peaceful considering the small lot. The views are very pretty too, though it's very swampy/marshy in this immediate area which can be occasionally unpleasant. The house itself looks like it was built in the 1950s, which is a turnoff, but it has some potential to be very cute. The porch in particular is inviting." One commenter wrote, "just made an offer on this gem-wish me luck please." We hope you scored this place! Let us know if so.

So what did the lucky buyer get for their two mil? While the plot is small at 0.32 acre, there is a pool and patio. The house is spacious at 3700sf, with four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. The décor is traditional, with a nice kitchen and baths and attractive built ins. Plus, there are waterviews of Scallop Pond and deeded bay beach access.
