Remember that proposed senior housing project on 11 acres on Moses Lane in Southampton Village? Called Beach Plum Meadows, it's been scaled back from 56 units to 16 single family homes on half-acre lots, but residents are still unhappy. Quoted in the Southampton Press, Donna DeLeo said, "We would really like for an environmental impact study to be conducted. I really think this project requires a study." Concerns include increased traffic and too much density. The village planning board will determine this week if a study needs to be conducted.
