Eight Acres in Southampton Now a Mere $34M

New, 4 comments

Just about a year ago, what remains of the classic great estate Villa Mille Fiore went on the market. Originally asking $38M, the price has been chopped twice, now down to a mere-bag-of-shells $34M. For that, you get two cottages, a garage, tennis court, a 40' x 60' pool and pool house, and the all-important eight acres of land, which have been subdivided. The property is beautifully landscaped with old gardens and trees from when the original mansion was built in 1910. And of course, location is great, with "the ocean beckoning at the end of the street." (Er, what?) How low does the price have to go to tempt a buyer?
