Learn Jewelry Making at the Pelletreau Silver Shop

The Pelletreau Silver Shop, build 1686, is the oldest continuously opened shop in the Americas, now operated by Southampton Historical Museums. What better place to learn to make jewelry? An eight-week course given by master jeweler Eric Messin will teach students the basics of jewelry making, from sculpting wax and soldering to setting stones and polishing. At the end of the course you'll have a finished, ready-to-wear piece of jewelry. The fee, which includes supplies, is $365 for members and $385 for non-members. Classes are either on Friday evenings from 6-8PM or Saturday mornings 10AM-noon, starting next week.
