We really liked this house when it hit the market back in May, its first time ever on the market. Last time we checked the price in mid-September, the pricechopper had been wielded, down below $5M. (Originally the ask was $5.25M.) That did the trick: the place sold for $4.5M, a very fair price.
The house was designed by the well-known modernist architect (and son-in-law of Walter Gropius!) Charles Forberg. It offers an open floor plan with a south-facing wall of glass, five bedrooms and three baths in 3200 sf. We love the glass ceiling in the hallway. On 1.38 acres, there's a beautiful lush lawn, pretty gardens, the requisite gunite pool and separate garage.
