It's slightly surprising that no one has snapped up this Shinnecock Hills property yet. True, the gambrel style isn't the most popular now, but this house is quite nice: spacious, bright and not at all tacky and overdone. Yes, it's not located in necessarily the toniest area—but the property is waterfront with gorgeous views, pretty landscaping, a pool and tennis court. The price has just been chopped 500K; it was $5.25M last summer and is now $4.75M; the house last sold in 2005 for $4.83M. There's 1.3 acres on Far Pond; the house is six bedrooms, 7.5 baths in 6500sf. Surely this place will find a buyer soon.
